Who seems to be more accepting of Large women, black men or white men or other ethnicities?
With all the talk about BBWs or big women, and the men that admire them, and such. From my traveling state to state to BBW Events and things, it seems to me that black women usually have a higher esteem, such as Monique, and the other large blk stars and just blk women in general. Yet Other women have put together Fat Acceptance, Self help groups and more to sort of gain the attention and acceptance they lack. I rarely see black women involved in those groups in large numbers, because as a general statement most black women are Full Figured so thats a standard in the black world. Black men, I don’t think are trying to pursue Barbie figures as much as the rest of America.
i wouldn’t date a large woman – although tall and graceful is different story

Cartier Cirque Animalier Elephant Motif
Founded as early as 1847 in the capital of France, Cartier became a renowned jewelry manufacturer who was to bring the craftsmanship and artistry of his refined jewels to the service of time measuring devices. Such are the beginnings of today’s greatly renowned Cartier products. And since there has always been a strong intertwining between the brand’s initial branches – jewelry and timepieces – the collection presented at the 2008 Salon International de la Haute Horologie was a most welcomed novelty.
The innovative design and the breathtaking looks of this new collection were only equaled by the exquisite mastery of techniques which are brought together for the realization of this masterpiece. The collection was launched as having three magnificent members, all symbols of Asian culture and tradition. Cartier envisioned this exclusivist saga of refinement as a circus traveling throughout the world and giving dreamlike representations for its admirers. The first stop seemed only natural to be Asia, since there are innumerable symbols that have inspired Cartier designers so far, resulting in the output of their work.
The first three stars of the Cartier Cirque Animalier were the Panda, the Elephant and the Tiger. All of its members were much acclaimed, but it was for the Cartier Cirque Animalier, Panda motif that the jury awarded the Best Jewelry Watch prize. Hovewer, the catchiest entertainer of the circus seems to have been the sweet, large eyed elephant which was, together with the other two show animals a member of the 50 pieces limited edition.

Cartier Cirque Animalier, Elephant motif is the combination of a precise quartz movement timepiece with the mind-blowing jewelry design characteristic for Cartier. This unique mold of 7.2 carats diamonds and 18 K pink gold having a emerald as the centre piece could justify by its existence solely why its makers have been granted the honor of being assigned “Jewelers to the king and king of jewelers”. A wide circle of round diamonds set in 18 K pink gold comprises the lovely shape of the elephant, which is made of hundreds of diamonds set on 18 K rhodium plated white gold and a large green emerald. The dial and the case are made of 18 K pink gold embellished with diamonds.
The dial is partially decorated with guilloche and the ball on which the elephant stands is decorated with four round diamond core stars. The elegant but modern style is sustained by a symmetrical architecture relevant of time’s nature and modern philosophy. The strap is made of dark grey, brushed, canvas and has a pink gold diamond set buckle. The other variants are based on silver respectively a golden chromatic dominant. The Panda motif is a combination of white rhodium plated 18 K gold and diamonds, black sapphires and emeralds with black and white enamel details. The Tiger motif is based on a yellow 18 K gold and onyx combination set with round diamonds and two emeralds. All watches are designed with a sapphire crystal and quartz movements, similar straps and buckles to go with the chromatic theme. Prices are available only by request, but since this was a limited collection with such a small number of pieces prices can reach any sum and having one of these timepieces is a true collector’s fantasy.

Cartier ID One Concept

Cartier has been a top luxury brand for years now. Its presence can be spotted anywhere on the red carpets and where the rich and famous are. In spite of the huge public success it has met with ever since Santos-Dumont wore the first Cartier wristwatch, the brand wants more. This Swiss watch maker is not in the game just for the money, it wants to make a statement on the Haute Horology’ scene and establish itself as one of the first brands in the innovative segment too.
The 2008 Salon International de la Haute Horologie (SIHH) awarded the Best Jewelry Watch prize to Cartier’s Cirque Animalier Panda motif. In 2010 more surprises are coming our way, glimmering, lavish, exquisite surprises, that is! The next SIHH will host a glamorous piece which will sure win the hearts of women from all over the world: Cartier Captive watch.
Innovative design seems to have become a constant preoccupation of Cartier lately. Their latest exhibition pieces have met with much acclaim and have brought a breath of fresh air to the classic and well established “order” of the Cartier collections. At first sight the looks of the new Cartier ID One Concept Watch resemble the Ballon Bleu de Catier, with a different chromatic dominant. When going into the details of this magnificent timepiece we find innovation working in the service of perfection.
Cartier ID One Concept
Cartier ID One Concept Watch was designed to work perfectly and resist without fault for more than a lifetime. It is the only watch which does not need any modifications or adjustments in any of its parts throughout its existence. The list of first time apparitions and amazing technical realizations is consistent. Cartier ID One Concept Watch has a “Zerodur hairspring”, integrating part of the “no adjustments” policy. Howcome? Zerodur is a type of ceramic with remarkable resistance to a high range of temperatures. It is also not in the least affected by magnetic field influences of any kind. Other components which play a primary part in the precision of any movement – the balance wheel, the lever and the escape wheel- have been designed in “Carbon Crystal”, a very resistant diamond like material which allows an oil free escapement. Shock resistance has been achieved by using a shifting escapement cage, which will absorb force and reduce impact damage, thus protecting the entire escapement from shocks. The “Niobium –Titanium” case is a hypoallergenic alloy with high wear resistance with shock absorbing proprieties, which make it superior to steel.
Cartier ID One Concept
A 46 mm diameter case makes this timepiece an incredibly good looking and avant-garde masterpiece form the point of view of both design and technical achievements. This watch is a mere concept, thus it is not intended for sale yet, but I am sure that anyone who has had a chance to lay eyes on it will be looking forward to receiving news on how Cartier plans to develop this baby into a commercial line.
