Has anyone had any problems checking in hand luggage with air france?

I’m planning to take all my stuff as hand luggage, as i have read about the problems with air france and transfer flights. Also, how much is 12kg if i don’t have any scales?

If you have too much stuff, you will have to check it. 12 Kg is approximately 26 lbs.
